Over 50 years Of Clarifier Expertise – Another Project Award to Hydroflux Epco

Hydroflux Epco were recently awarded the design and build of a 17M diameter secondary clarifier mechanism for the Kurri Kurri STP.

As part of the contract, Hydroflux Epco will also undertake the mechanical installation of the full mechanism including rotating bridge, centre column assembly, sludge scrapers, scum skimming and effluent weirs.

Hydroflux Epco clarifiers have been used in municipal sewage and potable water as well as industrial and mining applications since the late 1960’s. A LogMax® scraper mechanism was used for this application, comprising a logarithmic sludge scraper design typically used in activated sludge systems. Hydroflux Epco also offer a chevron sludge scraper arrangement and suction header mechanism.
