Hydroflux Comes Together to Address the Future Needs of the ANZ-Pacific Water Sector

September 17, 2024

Last week the entire Hydroflux team came together for a two-day conference to celebrate our journey and to discuss how we can increase our impact within the water sector for the future. The conference and workshop were held in the beautiful beachside suburb of Cronulla in Sydney’s south and included all staff from our interstate and international offices.

“It was fantastic to have the entire group together in one auditorium, at over 100 staff our incredible team has such a diverse knowledge base of the water market. Our team is fully committed to delivering the best for our customers and to achieving our mission of Protecting Our Most Resources.

We discussed the customer and technology landscape, what the future will hold for the Water Sector in the ANZ-Pacific region, and how we are well positioned to address issues relating to water security, renewable energy and circular economy.

Some examples of our latest groundbreaking projects include:

  • Upgrade of a 7.2MLD MBR-based sewage plant to enable water reuse
  • 1.5MLD advanced chromium removal process for an industrial manufacturer
  • Expanded range of specialty chemicals, service, maintenance and rentals
  • 1.5MLD high-rate anaerobic treatment/gas recovery project which will feature Australia’s first EGSB process for an F&B manufacturer
  • Two thermal dryer projects to process municipal biosolids that will result in the circular use of this byproduct
  • Decentralised recycled water solution using Organica, a sewage treatment process that resembles a garden/greenhouse to enhance community outcomes

We also are working towards enhancing water security solutions with our HyPURE® technologies, recovering nutrients from biosolids and building solutions for the emerging Hydrogen market” says John Koumoukelis, CEO of Hydroflux.
